Across the state spending continues to rise. This poses a serious threat to the stability of New Hampshire's economy and the welfare of New Hampshire taxpayers.

 

Our pledge allows candidates and elected officials to make a promise that they intend to take their responsibility as a citizen legislator seriously. The language is simple and straightforward asking for a commitment to control spending, and protect New Hampshire taxpayers liberty. The pledge simply states:

 

I hereby pledge not to vote for or lend my support to any budget that raises government spending more than the rate of Inflation, as it is defined by the Consumer Price Index-Urban Plus Population Growth.
